Lilo - Dragon Girl, a sockpuppet

This is Lilo Dragon Girl,
a sockpuppet I did as a Christmas gift for my little niece.
She is made from a sock, of course, real wool in pink and orange shades, felt and has a lovely velvet tongue.
Her eyes are made of a vintage handkerchief from my grandmother, filled with washable "magic cotton".
All parts are hand-sewn, no glue is used, so that a little toddler won't end up swallowing bits and pieces or even some dragon scales...

my first Marionette made of recycled, or used, materials. Cork in this case.
She will find her way into a workshop for kids or young people some day, serving as prototype to show, that charme is not necessarily a matter of expensive materials or master skills...
